Monogrammed Watch Made of Spoons

This is a really unique watch. It's made of two "M" monogrammed spoons attached to the watch face on one side and a clasp on the other.

It's amazing how I would never recognize that it was spoons unless someone told me. It just shows how classic the look of vintage and monogrammed metal is. It can be placed in a variety of situations and still look good. This watch is a great example of re-purposing vintage items as jewelry.

Thanks to cuttlefish for the photo, found on Flickr

Monogram Jewelry: Wax Seals

I saw a woman wearing this monogram jewelry at a restaurant, and thought it was a great idea to base jewelry on this design. It looks like one of those seals that people used to use to seal important letters, you know, the red ones? Well, the makers of this jewelry took those monogram wax seal designs, and converted them into silver and bronze jewelry.

PRIMA ROMA

This is a bronze brooch worn by ancient Roman Soldiers of the First Legion. It can be read as PRIMA, and also as ROMA. I really like old monogram pieces like this one. It's lost its luster, but not its charm.

Monogrammed Necklace: Martha

This is a beautiful necklace, which according to this monogram blog post, spells out "Martha." I can't tell which letter is in this picture ("t" maybe?), it is gorgeous nonetheless.
